REPORTS

I issue reports within 5 working days of a site visit, or within 5 working days of receiving analytical data from a laboratory where air sampling has been carried out.

My reports are very much bespoke and do not include “padding” as a standard inclusion. They are therefore concise and readable, but detailed where a full understanding of the findings is necessary. Reports are spell and grammar checked, with proof reading by a second person prior to issue. They typically include:

  1. An Executive Summary summarising the main findings of the work.

  2. A Recommended Actions Table with columns to allow the client to assign responsibilities and target dates in-house.

  3. Details of sampling methodology and strategy.

  4. Detailed discussion of findings and conclusions.

  5. Results tables.

  6. Certificates of Analysis from laboratories.

  7. Calibration Certificates for Flowmeters, Noise meters etc. Note: I use calibrated flowmeters, and not “secondary field rotameters”, for site work.

Quality assurance is achieved through use of a series of technical measures including the use of approved / validated methods with calibrated equipment and analyses by accredited laboratories. Reports comply with BOHS report writing guidelines.
